RENOFORM EXT 702 K

Neat Oil Extrusion. Heavy-Duty Cold Forming Lubricant

Description

RENOFORM EXT 702 K is a non-chlorinated cold extrusion fluid intended for medium to heavy duty applications. It contains extreme pressure (EP) additives to provide extended tool life and fine finishes, and its residues are easily cleaned from production parts.

RENOFORM EXT 702 K is non-corrosive to copper and copper alloys. Where viscosity permits, this safeguards its use on both tool and lubricant sides of the machine. Dual side capability ends problems of cross contamination of die and machinery lube. This means the components of the gear box are protected from possible corrosion by die lubricants, and the die lubricants do not become diluted and ineffective with the gear lubricants.

Die Lubrication - RENOFORM EXT 702 K is typically used as received without dilution. It should be flooded on to the tools in the die area. On smaller machines it can be applied directly to the rod or wire. On easier jobs, for economy, RENOFORM EXT 702 K can be diluted with blending oil.

Machine Lubrication - RENOFORM EXT 702 K is used as received. Note: Viscosity must conform to machine requirements.

Application

RENOFORM EXT 702 K is typically used as received without dilution. It is flowed or flooded directly onto the dies and punches on large headers or parts formers. It can be applied directly to the wire or rod on small headers.
RENOFORM EXT 702 K is readily cleaned from work-pieces with mild to moderately alkaline cleaner solutions.
