TUF DRAW 1919HW
Water Miscible Drawing and Stamping Lubricant for Hard Water Systems
Description
TUF DRAW 1919 HW has become the industry benchmark in water-emulsifiable lubricants for severe stamping, forming and blanking operations. It is intended for use on ferrous materials and stainless steel. It can also be used for non-ferrous alloys, but we recommend that you first submit these materials for testing by FUCHS technical service department. TUF DRAW 1919 HW was also developed to withstand high hardness water conditions.
TUF DRAW 1919 HW provides very good indoor corrosion protection of ferrous metals. TUF DRAW 1919 HW is non-gumming for a clean running operation, and it is compatible with carbide tooling.
Advantages
- The industry standard for severe metalforming operations
- Protects tool coatings, tooling, and maintains excellent part finish in the most severe stamping and forming operations.
- Its film strength carries through dies and helps reduce the amount of lubricant that must be applied.
- Provides very good in-process anti-corrosion protection.
- It forms a stable emulsion even in high hardness conditions
- Readily cleaned in alkaline cleaners
How to Use
For flood or spray application, mix TUF DRAW 1919 HW with water, blending oil or solvents. Typical dilution range is 2 to 10 parts water to 1-part product. When mixing with water, always add TUF DRAW 1919 HW to the water, with agitation.
Your FUCHS representative can work with you to optimize the most efficient dilution and application techniques.
How to Clean
Residual films are readily cleaned from parts with Renoclean alkaline cleaners and all automotive pretreatment cleaners. Your local FUCHS representative can provide you with specific recommendations for your operation.
