FUCHS UK Looks Forward To Future With Appointment Of New CEO
FUCHS Lubricants (UK) plc, the UK’s leading independent manufacturer of lubricants and related specialty products, are pleased to announce a significant leadership transition. Following the recent retirement of CEO Richard Halhead, FUCHS UK’s former Head of Industrial Division, Richard Rogers has stepped into the role.
Joining FUCHS UK in 1999 as a “temporary employee” following university, Richard has since built a long and successful career with the company. Developing a strong background in the lubricants sector by working within a variety of departments including marketing, product management and sales before moving into leadership, Richard will lean on his knowledge to guide FUCHS UK into its next phase of growth, with a continued focus on innovation, collaboration and delivering value across all business sectors.

The appointment of Richard Rogers follows the retirement of Richard Halhead, former CEO of FUCHS UK and VP for Northern Europe, after almost three decades of dedicated service. Initially employed as Financial Director, Richard became CEO in 2000 and throughour his long-standing career has played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s growth and strategic direction including the expansion of the UK production facility, the strengthening of sustainability initiatives, and a deeper alignment with global FUCHS Group priorities.
This transition marks the beginning of a new chapter for FUCHS UK, as the company continues its mission to deliver high-performance lubricants, technical expertise, and sustainable solutions to its customers across a wide range of industries.
