Description
LUBRODAL RM 4000 is a water miscible, graphite free lubricant for hot rolling of steel. It has excellent release and cooling properties. LUBRODAL RM 4000 is a concentrate that can be diluted with water in any ratio.
Field of application
LUBRODAL RM 4000 is used as a caliber lubricant in hot rolling of steel. It is a mineral-oil-free alternative to common rolling oils and emulsions.
Guideline for dilutions (applied by spraying):
Rolling of profiles: 1:1 to 1:3
Rolling of rings: 1:5 to 1:30
Method of application
LUBRODAL RM 4000 should be applied by automatic spray equipment (fixed nozzles). Blockages caused by the deposition of solids are overcome when LUBRODAL RM 4000 is used.
